Bought:
Office Max Gift Card $50 - Earned $10 MaxPerk reward

Two days later, bought:
Duracell Coppertop batteries, 20-pk $16.99 - Earned $16.98 MaxPerk reward
10-ream case of paper $41.99 - Earned $32 MaxPerk reward

I was able to use $10 off $50 competitor coupon, making total $53.27 ($48.98 + tax $4.29). Paid w/ previously purchased GC and additional $3.27 OOP.

Rewards will issue by the end of January. So, for $53.27 I was able to get batteries, a case of paper, and $58.98 to spend later. I'll probably go back and submit the empty ink cartridges to add to this period's rewards. I have 6, so I think that another $12.

DH takes aspirin daily, so that was the excuse for spending $3!! I always try to coupon for non-necessities when purchasing the items I need without spending extra.I would have spent at least $3 to buy the aspirin on its own. Score!!
So, my OOP was $6.43. I used a $2 cat and was able to get $4 cash from customer service. I lost $1 on the fifth item, $.50 for using the wrong Safeway card (downside to maintaining more than one), and now I have to call the Cataline customer Service and wait for my $2 catalina to come in the mail.CouponLady88http://www.blogger.com/profile/01120226876855024787noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4888278503671712089.post-46566477855909378952010-10-02T09:25:00.000-07:002010-10-02T09:26:01.401-07:00Catalina Vent 9/30/10Is it wrong to hate the catalina machines? I've had too many bad experiences. Today makes the 2nd time I'll have to contact the Catalina company to get my coupons. While checking out, I heard the machine going but nothing came out. Yes, the green light was on. I make sure I look before I start scanning. I asked the Self-check Police to lift the lid to see if maybe the paper was jammed. Sure enough, it was. He fixed the paper. So, I scanned and finished. Not bad enough that my scenario didn't work as planned. I was expecting my $2 ONYO catalina and when the slip printed out, there was hardly anything printed on the coupon. Apparently the ink was out (or some other printing issue). I don't suppose there's a way to print a test slip before I start?

Anyhoo, just a few minutes to vent. I guess the goods outweigh the bads, but when it's something bad it just really sucks!

(Late post because my internet was down)CouponLady88http://www.blogger.com/profile/01120226876855024787noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4888278503671712089.post-62967477199962440032010-09-20T23:06:00.001-07:002010-09-20T23:14:55.434-07:00Rite Aid 9/20/2010 - OOP $.97, FREE after +UpsFirst RA trip of the week.
